Christaldo cou...Not a lot of joy here, I'm afraid.

Christaldo could only manage third priced at even money.

At Kempton Boychuk ran a good race at 5/1 to finish second to the outsider Ungaro who won at 14/1. In this race the horses which jumped well finished first and second. Noble Request finished second at 7/1 to 10/1 shot Jazz Messenger, with odds on shot Straw Bear disappoinitng. Ken Pitterson notes in The Weekender that Noble Request didn't appear fully wound up; certainly I noticed that Richard Johnson refrained from using the whip in the closing stages. Kauto Star won at 8/13 but gave supporters two big scares on the way around; the fences at Cheltenham will be less forgiving.

At Towcester 2/1 favourite What A Buzz led two furlongs out but was easily brushed aside by winner Money Order. A disappointing effort with The Racing Post commenting that the horse had failed to build on his earlier promising run.

At Wetherby King Killone had conditions to suit but was never really travelling and finished well down the field.

Pass the port,please...GeeDeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09834633278297488704noreply@blogger.com
